The Church of Divine Graceserves spiritual needs for those who seek to worship God the Father, maintain a relationship with the son Jesus Christ, and who desire to fellowship with like-minded believers and study the Bible, and who hunger to learn about the Kingdom of God.
Our Pastor
Rev. Gaspar V. Garcia
Rev. Garcia provides spiritual leadership and guidance to the Church of Divine Grace. He teaches and oversees others who teach God’s Word, and he ministers to the body according to need and by inspiration. The Church of Divine Grace offers worship service (Bible teachings), and Children’s Bible Study (Children’s Fellowship) weekly on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM. Tuesday nights are dedicated to prayer and worship. Study nights may include previously recorded teachings in an open environment and group discussion.
Rev. Garcia conducts Christian family counseling, marriage counseling, pre-marital counseling and biblical counseling to individuals and families in need. He performs weddings, dedication of children, and presides at funerals. He writes and edits “The Good News Letter”, a monthly publication of the Church, with a wide circulation through email, and is available in printed form at the Church, and mailed to out of town subscribers and friends of the Church. Rev. Garcia conducts Biblical Seminars and other teaching series in person.

Building Blocks for Relationships is a study on how to foster relationships by relying on Bible Scripture and exploring the core values Jesus used to build relationships during his lifetime on Earth.
Through personal and professional experience, Rev Garcia illustrates how the Bible’s most basic principles like truth, honesty, integrity, and sincerity (THIS) when applied in a relationship yield positive and fruitful results. He describes the basic elements fundamental to a successful relationship and examines the challenges that Christians face in establishing and sustaining sound relationships. Then he reviews the qualities that constitute a healthy and vibrant relationship, and provides specific ways to:
- Relieve stress in marriage
- Contribute to the goals of the relationship
- Enjoy talking with your children
- Build proper expectations with new acquaintances

Our Church
The Church of Divine Grace is located in Davie, Florida and serves spiritual needs in the Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade and surrounding community to those who seek family style and home fellowship to study the Bible, and who hunger to learn about the Kingdom of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church is an extended “home-based” fellowship that has been on–going for more than 20 years. The fundamental source for the teachings of the Church of Divine Graceis the Word of God. We endeavor to learn, teach and practice the truth of God’s rightly divided Word, and to walk in the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ. Church of Divine Grace activities include:
Biblical Teaching and Fellowship – This activity consists of Bible research and study for the purpose of teaching accurate understanding of biblical passages. It is offered twice per week along with song, prayer, prasise and worship of Almighty God. Teachings are designed to educate, build and fortify believers in principles expounded throughout the Bible and as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ, and his disciples. This service is open to all. It is provided for spiritual growth and well-being, and to impart deeper understanding of God’s Word. These services are conducted Sunday mornings at 10:30 am at 16220 Oneida Place, Davie, Florida. Everyone is welcome to our open-door environment for fellowship and worship.
Prayer Meetings – Are conducted weekly to bring believers of God’s promises together to pray for God’s interventions in the issues of daily living, for healing of physical ailments, and soundness of mind, and for the continued supply of God’s abundance into our lives. While prayer is conducted at every meeting, a special prayer service is conducted at the Davie location every Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM. Prayer service has been on-going since 1998, and is open to everyone to enhance quality of spiritual life.
Biblical Teaching Seminars – Biblical Seminars are designed to provide concentrated instruction and understanding in a selected area or field of Biblical study.
His-Story God’s Purpose For the Ages – is a ten session audio presentation which expounds on God’s purpose for man, the need for a savior, why God sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to be the sacrifice for man, God’s rich rewards for man and the Hope of Christ’s return. (Pre-recorded – Vincent Finnegan, Christian Biblical Counsel)
Heart of Christian Living – is a seven session tape seminar that teaches God’s desire for man to change his heart to that of Christ’s. It encourages improvement of the quality of life in every day living by applying a heart felt desire to change from within by the individual. The class endeavors to bring man closer to God spiritually by teaching God’s principles and desires as stated in the Bible. (Pre-recorded – Vincent Finnegan, Christian Biblical Counsel)
Marriage Alive – is a twelve-session seminar presented live on a weekly basis for twelve weeks to married couples seeking to live more godly lives under the love and admonition of the Lord. It focuses on the roles of the husband and the wife as defined by Biblical principles and does an in depth study on thankfulness, forgiveness, honoring one another, problem solving, and sexual intimacy. We offer this seminar, and shorter versions yearly and on special occasions. (Live Teachings)
Study of the book of Romans– This Study of Romans helps us understand Christian faith and practice. It makes known the Gospel of Christ and explains that salvation is based upon having faith in what God has accomplished in the Messiah, Jesus, the Christ. It answers the questions of, “Why man needed a savior?”, “Why the Law of Moses could not provide salvation?”, and teaches that God is not a respecter of persons, but that all men, Jew and Gentile must obey and have faith in the promises of God. It teaches what Jesus Christ accomplished through His sacrifice, and shows that we are freed from the sin of Adam and from the Mosaic Law, with instructions on becoming a living sacrifice for God. Other Studies and Biblical Teachings – These Bible studies and seminars, as well as others are presented at no cost when possible or at a nominal cost to the participants to cover the out of pocket expenses for materials, refreshments and rental of facilities. Studies are scheduled to coincide with Church teachings or as need. Some studies have pre-requisites for admission in order to facilitate deeper understanding. Other Biblical Teachings available are:
